Guided tours of the exhibition “Cult, Culture, Art” highlight the diversity of Jewish experiences in Switzerland. Visitors gain insight into Jewish religion and community life. They also explore the history of Jews in Switzerland, from the earliest records dating back to Roman times, through the struggle for equal rights and the Zionist Congresses, to the country’s reckoning with its wartime history.

Guided tours are free of charge for school groups from Basel-Stadt and Basel-Land. The regular price for guided tours for school groups is 200 francs. Please use the online registration form.
For guided tours including a visit to the synagogue, we ask teachers to bring the completed Visit a Religion form.
