JMS 1613: Pen and ink drawing from TheresienstadtMore and more documents concerning the Shoa and the troubles of the Second World War are presented to the Museum. They have changed hands frequently before reaching the Museum. The drawing from Theresienstadt from 1942 is an impressive war document. The sad look of the portrayed young worker with the yellow star is revealing and touches any visitor. The artist, Fritz Tausig, died 1942 or 1943 in one of the polish concentration camps. |
